2013 All Breeds Fleece Show & Sale and Fiber Contests
Saturday May 18, 2013All Breed Fleece Show and Sale and the Fiber Contests will be in the ZCBJ Hall. The show is open to all youths and adults in Oregon. The show and sale and Fiber contest will begin on Saturday morning and runs through 5:00pm. Entries are accepted on Saturday morning from 8am to 10am.
The show is open on Saturday from 10:00am until 5:00pm for viewing the fleeces. Fleeces may be purchased after the judging is complete.
Fleece will be for saleThe fleece that is for sale will be so indicated on the entry tag:
1. The weight of the fleece.
2. The price per pound.
3. The sale price.
A Fleece that is not for sale, must be so marked. The exhibitor will be able to collect all money from the sold fleeces at the end of the show on Saturday between 3pm and 4pm. All unsold and not for sale fleeces will be released and must be removed on Saturday between 3pm and 4pm.
There are no entry fees or sales commission charges for the All Breeds Fleece Show and sale.
Vendor fee $20.00 per 10x10 space.

Rules of the Show:The show is open to all entrants. We accept sheep,goat,alpaca,and llama fleeces that must be owned by the exhibitor. Fleeces must have no more than one years growth, and be typical length for the breed or type. Unskirted fleeces will not be accepted. The judge may move a fleece to its correct class if it is improperly entered or there are not sufficient entries to make a breed or type class.
Sheep Fleeces must be skirted, rolled and tied with paper twine. They may be then placed in plastic bags. (Judges may remove fleeces during judging.)
Other Fleeces must be skirted, rolled and presented in a clear plastic bag.

Categories can be combined at Judge's discretion.
All Blue ribbons in a category will be judged against each other for a champion. Each champion will then be entered in the Best of Show.
